Definitely moreso for female children than male children. The difference in how teacher/student sex is treated depending on whether the kid is a boy or a girl pretty clearly illustrates that. It's conceded that the boy may have been hot for teacher while the girl could only have been a passive victim. Of course these sorts of things generally involve teens rather than actual children.
I actually think the reverse of the stereotype is true in regards to children. It's widely thought that girls mature faster than boys in general, no? And they experience puberty sooner. That would seem to indicate that they'd typically have stronger sexual thoughts from a younger age than boys (though societal norms would dictate they would be more hidden).
