I think a lot of alcoholics might be told that quitting drinking will improve their life but this is not true. You have to improve your life first if you want to quit drinking. It is your environment and life circumstances that causes the addiction even more than the actual substance itself. This is why not everyone who drinks becomes an alcoholic.
