I take it California doesn't want the sex offender registry used as a kind of pervert hook up.

I don't believe Massachusetts is alone in advising that those not likely to meat an offender in Massachusetts not use the registry. I could be wrong.

Virginia is an odd encouragement isn't it. Than again the scarlete letter was never a good idea to begin with. Anything beyond that isn't much more than the start.
