I'm not sure I understand most of the replies in this thread, and the topic in general.

It sounds like most are saying that perhaps our attraction isn't normal, or that we're just being stubborn in our attractions to little girls. If that's the case, one should wonder if we don't truly belong in the shadows, with no where to turn, as we are today. If this attraction is so abnormal, why *shouldn't* we be persecuted?

But the amount of men with this attraction speaks for itself. To persecute all the men with this attraction also shows a lot.

Obviously, everyone has their own preferences, and everyone is attracted to certain things. I don't know why someone should be expected to change based on what "could" be superior for them?

I don't understand the argument, because it seems to be claiming that yes, people have their own preferences, but one should go against such preferences if there's a "superior" option out there. And who's to say what is, and what isn't, superior for your tastes?

Who's to say being gay and being in a relationship with a man might not be superior? But do you know how that would sound, telling a heterosexual man to turn gay, just because being with a man might be "superior" for him? Or what about telling a gay man to turn hetero just because it's better to be with a woman?

Everyone has their preferences, and fulfilling such preferences is usually necessary to maintain a healthy relationship.

In the past I have tried to be in relationships with women, and it doesn't work. Some of us here no doubt prefer little girls to women more than the others do. I'm sure there's some members here who actually prefer women to little girls, but none the less they share the attraction. So, please don't lump me into a category or label me.

What works for somebody won't always work for everyone else.

I'm sure there are many different reasons why one could be a GL... but I'm not sure why one must prove those reasons are "legit" in order to be accepted, or have the same rights everyone else does.
