You seem to ignore any other position or argument about why "men are more violent". What some book says doesn't make it true. There are many books out there about many different things, which take many different positions. I've studied the world a lot, as well. I don't just follow the media. I don't need some crackpot to tell me the world is less violent. Southern - yes Southern - states once had almost no crime or violence. When police were introduced, that changed nearly overnight. Though I'm sure you'd come up with your own little rebuttal. Such debates can go on forever, favoring either, or both sides. Bottom line is, I'm not going to sink to my opponent's low and blame all violence on one human group, especially when that one group had all the power in history (the other did not). The truth is, "oppression" of women was very much suited for when humans were living with nothing much more than sticks and stones. It fit the human condition and basic needs at the time. Not to mention, even in the animal kingdom males are usually the dominant ones. It's an evolutionary trait. Makes one wonder just how far "gender equality" should go... are we going against basic nature? Sounds pretty harmful. And yeah yeah, I know the arguments here as well.
Even if the free world nations are now less violent - that hardly needs to be contributed to feminism - and that doesn't take into account the crimes and brutality the free world commits on other nations (which I'm sure you'd justify with some sick, delusion of world domination, which is what the opposing sides use, as well) and how they prop up tyrants and corrupt regimes. This is a completely demented mentality.
I'd like to point out... If there's a family living in poverty with no food to eat, and they have no choice but to rob a store to get money or groceries, who do you think will do it - the wife, or the husband? It's basic human/family survival instinct, where men have to do the fending and protecting.
This is becoming a reality more and more today - yes, in the free world as well. Read about the economic crisis - no, it hasn't ended. The greed of our leaders (more of which women continue to grab roles for) is increasing, yet some claim we're so liberated and making such progress. Some senior citizens are now forced to resort to eating cat food. Absolutely disgusting that this people aren't helped, even though we've supposedly made progress. The need to fulfill the needs of the weak and the innocent is not being met any more than it ever was, as I've backed up with simple facts. I don't see how someone could be brainwashed enough not to see it.
Men are naturally stronger than women in most cases, and they need to use that strength to protect the innocents. I have also pointed out that women ARE superior to men at many things. We both are equal in strengths and weaknesses, but they are at different things, and we have different needs.
I didn't mean to insult Baldur. I was mainly joking about what I said about southerners. I wasn't all that serious.
I don't care if you don't believe in Karma. How did I know you would pick on that point as well? Either way, I know karma has bit you already, and it probably will again. Even if karma doesn't exist - which it may not - I'd suggest looking at your life and seeing some connections to what's happening, and how you are wrong.
But I don't believe for a second that the world would have been less violent if women were in control throughout history. This is a pretty big paradox, you could say. If women had been the dominant ones throughout history, they would have had to be the stronger ones. That would likely mean they'd have more testosterone, and thus, been way more violent. It's interesting to note that most female politicians today, like the men, believe in violent and oppressive policies. There's also Queens who ruled in history who were violent as well. But I suppose, it's all because of the men influencing them, right? I guess women are that stupid, naive, and gullible they cannot think for themselves.
Actually, there were societies in the past where women were in complete control. Some of them sounded pretty violent and barbaric. Take the Amazons, for example.
Maybe try to understand human biology before resorting to the extreme of stating the world would be better off without a certain breed of human? Men cannot get a long without women, and women cannot get a long with men. If it happens, wait and see.
Men needed to be "salvaged"? That's just another hateful claim which will only spread more hate and inequality. As I think I've pointed out now, it's humanity in general that needs to be salvaged.
I personally don't know why all forms of hate and prejudice cannot be tolerated, except when it comes to men. The truth is, there are probably areas where all genders, races, cultures, and orientations need to improve, but no one ever talks about that, do they? It's only politically correct when it's regarding men. So I may be more accepting of such claims about men, if claims about other minorities were accepted as well.
