By now most of us know that our computer-privacy is automatically forfeit of we try to cross borders with our computers in tow.

But the advanced-tester for giving up liberty in the name of security has initiated a computerless invasion of our online privacy.

Israel has decided that if you look too tanned or exotic, then it can ask you to log-in to your e-mail so that it can rifle through the contents. All it takes is a print-out, say of the boarding itinerary your ticket agency mailed to your LG-mail account, and they'll go to the LG-mail log-in page and demand that you give 'em access.

You don't want to? Well, they can always refuse you entry.

What do I expect to see next? Perhaps America adopt that for reentry of American citizens traveling abroad? We can't let no pernicious thought-virus back into the country.
