if there was a scream the media would jump on the opportunity to report it.

the fact that they were friends and there actually were no other witnesses makes the story even more suspect.

In the end we can form opinions but the truth is forever gone unless we lived in a world where we actually listen to children. However if she said it was fun and she liked him no one would listen, they'd make sure she felt he hated her and it was horrible.
