Considering that the Amish have come under fire for refusal to assimilate ( particularly on the issue of military service, ) it would be known if they allowed child marriage. ( They don't. ) Not every culture on the planet shares this concern with child-marriage. Cultures are defined by what they concern themselves with and by what they don't. To argue that someone who doesn't share one's issues must be opposed to them is the height of paranoia. In my culture, my distant cousin's moral behaviour is unknown to me and of no concern. I wouldn't give it a thought, but for to find an example of something another culture might obsess over which I don't. I am by definition a lousy Bedu, a bad Japanese, an awful .... well you get the picture. Your failure to adhere to the Kanun of Lekė Dukagjini reveals you to be in open opposition to it. And if you don't believe this, then you have been brainwashed into not following it by modernists or by religious kooks. You couldn't actually be indifferent or unaware, could you?
