Put in another way, we don't feel obliged to tolerate values that are based on intolerance, no matter how much said form of intolerance may be acceptable to practice in mainstream society at the present time. Respecting the right of someone to state an opinion, and allowing it here as long as it's done in a respectful manner to the GLers on this board, is not a requirement to respect the opinion itself, or for treating all opinions as being equally informed or intrinsically valid.
