Didn't Lot chose his path towards sin? Didn't he chose his path towards Sodom; even though, knowing that the people were committing sins?

Remember, God is all knowing. Abraham made the plead to God to spare Sodom if 10 righteous people where found. God agreed to Abraham pleads fully knowing what is going to be the outcome. Sodom was going to fall. Lot chose to protect these men, and willing to sacrifice his own daughters to a horrible crime of gang rape.

The Sodom & Gomorrah story is more about getting second chances. Even though if you were lead astray, God would give you another chance.
