Unless you take "men" to mean the generic "mankind" ( inclusive of Wimmins and Chilluns [ which, AFAIK, ] nobody does, ) then we're talking about adult males; both old men and young men.

Again, no mention of children; girl-children or boy-children.

But heck, if we're gonna see things which just ain't there; I'd rather picture THEM ALL as children. Why limit ourselves?
