Good luck finding Him in the OT. There he is capricious and cruel.

Even overall you have the Epicurian Paradox; aka The Problem of Evil. Of course, Ghod as Author-of-All-Things, and able to foresee and avert evil unless He desires it for its own sake, is not a problem if He is neither the sole Author, aware, or able. And the Ghod who admits His ignorance of hearsay to Abraham, and who later uses Moses to best the rival Ghods ( His peers ) of Pharoah, already knows that he is neither a lone Deity nor can be everywhere and know everything. That Ghod can't be held responsible.

An all-powerful monotheist Ghod OTOH.......
