Best not to leave tracks behind than having to delete them later, Firefox privacy browsing is easy and quick, it can be activated with the shortcut: CTRL+Shift+P

But if for some reason traces have already been left on the hard drive, you can securely erase your Internet browsing history with BleachBit:
