Love doesn't require dashing out the brains of infants on rocks. God does, er..... did.
Its easier to define God as hate. But more accurately, in light of how He is used; fear.
Fear of other tribes. Fear of the other. Fear of Gays. Fear of slaves. Whatever the majority fears, God condemns.
Man created God, and largely, created God to comfort them from their irrational fears of what they don't understand.
