In either case, it is an unfortunate fact that for legal reasons we cannot allow persons under the age of 18 to post here, and that for the safety of our readers of all ages we can't exactly check up on everyone to know who is real.

In a half-way decent world, we could at least welcome teenage girls and teenage girl-lovers to join in our discussion. Unfortunately, we do not live in such a world - and in order to keep the board up and running and our young friends safe from the authorities this is not an option.

To any GirlChat readers under the age of 18 I send my best wishes. We would like to be able to keep up with you, but these matters are beyond our control. Know that you are not alone, and that you can be proud to be who you are. It isn't wise to mention this to most people, but that is on them, not you.
