Well, it's good we agree on something.

And also, not just justified, but more likely to actually happen. When people are really poor and desperate they'll do a lot of things to survive. Prostitution is just one kind of arrangement.

It is very bad now because, when caught, the LG's life gets turned upside down by the social taboo and the legal rehabilitation she will suffer.

There are today many societies where adult-child sex is not just de facto but legally and formally accepted. It just takes place inside the institution of child marriage. Look at Saudi Arabia that has NO minimum age at marriage! Girls are sometimes given in marriage at age eight! But what is common to these societies is that they've rejected modern liberal values of human rights for everyone. That is what makes life so unsatisfying for people like us, these universal rights.

The key insight is that this is NOT going to happen through any "free the children" bit. Maybe poor children, maybe children who are married off will be available, but this idea that kids are somehow equal to adults and that they should be freed is just intellectual masturbation!

I'm greedy. I want the rich kids, too.

Maybe you should convert to fundamentalist Islam!
