I don't know if you need to edit 2 chapters, but maybe in this chapter you could work something in about Pedro asking Foster why he was giving cookies to the little girl or something along those lines. We should be aware that he at least thinks Foster is a pedo, even if he doesn't know it for sure. Maybe he mumbles something under his breath that Foster doesn't quite hear. What's the Spanish slang word for pedophile? Anyone know?

Yeah, it was the word wetback. I'm not saying you have to remove it altogether. In fact, it humanizes him to some extent. He says the word in anger, not really meaning it, and right after he says it he feels guilty and says he didn't mean that, but, you know, the guy tried to kill him! You've got to put something in there that shows he isn't really a racist; he was just pissed off (for good reason.) If you can't work something like that in, I'd just drop it altogether.
