It is Friday night and I don't know what to say

I did not opt for being around friends who have kids and I went home alone

To my dismay

At least no hangover in the morning

But alone and no cuddling with a sweet child

Tomorrow I shall arise

And act from within

Mindful of internal whim

The most direct pathway is a kiss
