Absolutely. Every day I am reminded that there are certain things I must not mention, given that society is what it is. One slip could prove to be of great harm to me.

Everyone here knows that feeling.

Now imagine being - say - ten years old and coming to the realization that one slip of the tongue could do great harm to someone you love very much.

It may be that she has the sort of personality that can handle this without a problem, but keep in mind that it could be a problem - and a burden on her.

It may be just as well to leave some things unsaid - at least for now - and speak in generalities rather than specifics.
