And this would be true even if all police and DAs were absolutely honest, impartial and respectful of Constitutional protections of due process. Of course, they aren't, so it's even worse. But it's true even of an ideal system manned by angels."

And that´s the inherent problem with adversarial system.

Not that inquisitorial system cannot be abused. But it is fairer, at least if manned by angels.
