My Youngest Daughter menstrated when she was a newborn, If I remember correctly? It was due to Hormonal spike due to birth.

There was a LG that lived in the nieghborhood, That started puberty around 5 yrs of age, & it included menstration. Even at 8 or 9 she wasn't hippy, but her breast had developed. She could have taken medication to slow or stop this. But Her Parents were drug addicts & didn't care! Her & her sisters were removed from the home eventually!

Child birth is historically dangerious with a high mortality rate, till medical science figured out how to make it much safer!
