I agree that that is at least creepy and merits a word with the guy shooting.

I have for a long time contemplated two different media/communication ideas which would require child modelling. But in order to do them, I would recruit children not by shooting them unwarned, but by approaching a parent first, by having ready a sample of what I would be asking the child to do, and by giving the parent the assurance (completely normal in professional underage modelling) that they will be able to examine all the produce and veto the publication of any of it.

On the other hand, as Neutrino already said in a different thread about a different thing; we all, including children, are recorded everyday in hundreds of surveillance cameras all around our towns (at least those of us living in developed countries.) How is it any more ethical to shoot your kids without permission only because it's done automatically from a camera high enough that you only see it if you're looking for it; than manually from a camera held at someone's hand at human height?
