Erm. that's not how life works.

Maybe some here were at the top of the social pecking order until they discovered they were Pedosexual. Maybe they're currently closeted, and because they keep their secret they're adored by the masses and hated by none.

But frankly, I doubt it.

Some of us ARE the jews. If not literally, then figuratively.

Sure, I could've been closeted about being a little Atheist comix geek in an era and place where that made you a Satan-worshipping retard ( sic. ) But maybe I was too young to know better than to speak my mind, or be public about my interests and passions.

However, in one regard I couldn't have hid. I am an identical twin. Perhaps my folks could've treated it like the mark of Cain and raised us separately. But more likely they knew that at some point you can't let the bullies determine your values for you.

Haters will hate. Particularly in school. Kids who have braces. Kids who don't when everyone else does. Whatever race you are. Any physical defect.

And, unbeknownst to us, we might've well been conjoined twins for the targeting we got. Further, the "homo" jokes were dirt-common; even from other same-sex siblings. ( Its not as if hate needs an excuse, or even to make sense. )

So sorry, I can't help you with coping with Pedophilia as something more special and different from other kinds of hate. At some point you learn to accept who you are, and to hide other things.

Is there any reason I shouldn't be able to be open about my Atheism when others are discussing churchgoing? No. But there are social contexts where it will create too much trouble.

And I can't forget that I live in a nation which has many famous Jewish legislators, but where open Atheism is a non-starter. Is this fair? No.

Further, is it "living a lie" to not be able to speak my mind about anything at anytime? Not really. There are all sorts of folks who don't understand my opinions. Forcing acceptance, or denying the consequences of their ignorance aren't options.

I'm "me" to those who truly are ready to understand me. For others I'm a neighbor, a co-worker, a stranger on the train. Many of the latter might see me as a Satan-worshipping retard if I insisted upon using every stranger as my litmus test for self-acceptance. But I don't.

If I weren't a Pedophile, I would still be "living a lie" and be hated unjustly when I wasn't. I've learned to cope with this long before I knew I was Ped.
