... I was browsing lolicon and a thought occurred to me based on the comments. Something I should have realized a while ago. People often say pedosexuals are messed up, abusive, and sick. They might use internet comments as evidence. However I think there is a large group of pedosexuals that do not identify as such. Especially among the lolicon communities. To them, a pedosexual (pedophile) is a sick person who wants to rape children. They don't want to rape children. So they do not call themselves such and vehemently oppose the label.

I'm just thinking out loud. I definitely think it is funny when someone who is into lolicon (or shotacon) says "But I am not attracted to real children!" It's like... "dude, you get aroused off the nude form of children in sexual acts... just accept yourself for who you are"

These same people find the pro-contact position impossible because they have bought into the BS that kids aren't sexual and don't actually enjoy sexual contact.

Like any sexuality, pedosexuals are, by and large, good people and a minority of them are bad. Sadly the media, professionals, and nearly everyone focuses on the evil minority and applies it to us all.
