What are your thoughts? Personally, I found this segment to be pretty bleak and depressing. Even though he was sympathetic to people like ourselves, deep beneath lay a patronizing pity. I don't want to be hated, but I don't want to be pitied either. The part about his mother and the therapist was the worst. I can't even imagine that that was like.
