Sam & Cat has been cancelled without any reasons cited. In a strange paradox its one season was nearly double what was initially planned and yet cancelled before completion.

Originally it was slated for 20 episodes. After the ratings came in ( the best in nearly three years ) Nick upped the order to 40. Then in mid-seasons problems started to occur. Talk of renewal was postponed. And in the end its 36th episode was the series finale.

Various rumours have been floated and debunked. So its hard to tell what internal issues scuttled the series which may have been plagued by being too successful.
