"even in Pitcairn island such polynesian custom lead to sex scandal and British government move there to impose their christian-liberal morality"

British culture never encountered Polynesian natives there because they'd gone extinct some 300 years before the British arrived. No native untampered culture to encounter there.

The only Polynesians on the island after the extinction event were those imported by the Brits. So you should refer to the Western impact on Tahiti if you want to see how first contact went poorly.

* Not sure why anyone with access to the history would claim an uncontacted native Polynesian population on Pitcairn to be "interfered with. *

Arguably the modern rift between the inhabitants of Pitcairn and the mainland Brits is the result of letting a hypocritical culture separate so you can test for the force of "peer pressure" in shaping punitive attitudes. Pitcairn=Brits when nobody is looking. England=Brits when the neighbors are looking on. :)
