"and Obama bin Nada is ever on the path to bring the USA into a communist state per his historical leanings to socialism."

I wish.

I'm opposed to collectivism, but it seems to me that Amrika could use a few REAL leftist and rightist types. Authentic Progressives and Conservatives have been pushed aside in favor of centrists who keep pushing for a bigger State with no coherent position to support.

Now for the few who still believe that Tweedledum and Tweedledee aren't indistinguishable, the tragedy of Obama was electing him in hopes that he'd be a socialist ( or something different from Bush the lesser. )

But if you believed that going in you were soon disabused when the worst fascist policies of Junior became bigger and bolder under Obama.

Want transparency? Obama has jailed more whistleblowers. Think the drone policy is indefensible? Obama expanded that one. Think the War on Terror was a ruse? Obama has taken it to new levels. Hate the Republicans for inventing the Imperial Presidency? Obama has issued more signing statements that any previous president.

Healthcare is one of the few areas where it might remotely look as if Obama isn't Bush on steroids. This is why the Bush defenders must hammer Obama on this to the exclusion of almost everything else. Because if they scratch him anywhere else, "W" peeks out.

And all this places the folks who think that he is left in the strange position of having flip-flopped on everything they elected Obama to eliminate. Suddenly anti-War Dems have become militant hawks because standing with the Dems when they move to the right matters more than defeating all the things they opposed just prior to the election.

I'd like to scrap the whole winner-take-all system that has created two centrist parties who cannot be told apart without a score card. But if they MUST have a two-party system, some real opposition might be nice. How about some isolationist conservatives or some redistributionist progressives? ( And no, using Corporations to do the redistribution doesn't count. )

At this point I'm not sure which would've been worse; renewing the fascist incumbency by voting Republican, or affirming their fascist policies by voting in an "opponent" who upheld and expanded them. OTOH, at least those who voted for change can take heart that they were being lied to rather than that they bought into these programs.
