Rape laws? Whoever said anything about those? What about adultery laws? What about sodomy laws? What about miscegenation laws? Wasn't teleiophiles' judgment clouded by lust when they agreed to repeal laws against adultery, sodomy, or miscegenation? Deep down, they just wanted to screw someone else's spouse, someone of their own sex, or someone of another race; and their gonads did the voting for them. The three, plus suffrage, have been argued at you, as previous instances where there was an obvious self-interest regarding sexual relief expectations, and where you failed to adopt the same position regarding them: of skepticism based on the motives of the people arguing for them. That's how the discussion that is getting deeply indented down below in this thread was going. Fortunately they're not lawsuits and I'm not going under. I replied to Markaba, not you. I was not expecting or seeking your reply. You are mentioned because the underlying debate involved Markaba apologizing for positions you don't hold. But I am glad that we find each other in agreement about banning divorce and punishing adultery with stoning. There is hope after all. |
