As usual on this topic, the valid is mixed with the not valid and treated equally. By "it works" I was assuming that it would be proven that it works; or that hard proof is outside its scope (for instance, in any therapy not based on any prescribed substance but on talk and activity. As is, ironically enough, most of SO therapy) but perceptions were favorable. Of course when it is no better than a placebo effect, then it is not proven that it works. |
