I don't see that as really pushing the envelope. It's somewhat acceptable for teenage girls to have college aged guys interested in them. It means the girls seem mature so they're supposedly mistaken for being older than they are. As long as no sex occurs, not many people have a problem with it. Some girls even try to get college guys to flirt with them so they can say "I'm so sexy and mature that I can get college guys." Now lower the age to 13 or 14, then I'd say it's pushing the envelope.
