I've been crazy about Asia Argento for quite a while. It kinda helps that she got a Sprouse twin into drag in The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things.

One of my favorite films is High Fidelity and I've made a point of trying to catch most of Iben Hjejle's career in English and Danish.

And Amy Adam's. There's something very bubbly about Amy Adams.

In the Classic era, for me THE ONE isn't Marilyn or Audrey but is Barbara Stanwyck who could do comedy or drama. It helps that she was the kind of straightforward no-nonsense type who had no room for prima-donnas and knew the names of every lighting technician and asked after their family's health.
