i didn't realise talking dirty is now a crime!

Don't take this the wrong way, but you must have been under a rock the past ten years or so. There was one guy in Arkansas, USA who was having a legal sexual relationship with a girl (the local age of consent there is 16) but because he instant messaged her about sex, it became a federal crime (because she was over the AoC, but under 18, which is the age it becomes legal to talk about sex with them electronically). US congressman Mark Foley also almost went to jail for talking about sex online with underage pages under a law that he himself helped introduce. Talk about the height of hypocrisy and self destructiveness, huh? :)
