Ping: Apple and other UK posters.

As per GC rules, linking to imagery of the adult female nudity is not allowed. The UK has its page 4 girls in family newspapers and therefore such papers are not a good standard for judging what constitutes nudity and exposure within US law.

Most of the "nip-slips" that bring fines from the censors in America are actually exposure of the areola. None of the areolar region is permitted in most US law. And even the "underboob" is prohibited by most.

From MA; "the exposure of the human genitals, buttocks, pubic area or female breast below a point immediately above the top of the areola."

From NY; "For purposes of this section, the private or intimate parts of a female person shall include that portion of the breast which is below the top of the areola."

I'm going to be as charitable as I can and assume that you didn't look closely at the T-shirt image and see exposed areola or were aware of the laws on "underboob."

However it might be best to take a conservative approach if you can't familiarize yourself with the concept of nudity in US and Canadian law. If you wanted to play it safe you might choose to link only to articles with females exposing the same anatomy which would be permissible as office wear, or link only to North American family newspapers.

Either way, we really can't be constantly making the same edit over and over to posters who have already been warned. We allow links to illustrate a post. But they are an adjunct. So please link responsibly when you choose to do so.
