At this point there are allegations and zero facts. But EVERYBODY has an opinion.

"There's a good possibility it was all consensual, right?"

It is highly unlikely that there was any consensual sex going on between them. Its not impossible; just astronomically improbable.

Sure, anyone who remembers Holokitty NX knows that such things happen. But the incredibly unlikely just happening to coincide with a rape allegation? Well, I just don't buy it unless some extraordinary info is forthcoming.

Statistically, actual daughter rape is more common. ( Though it seems to be a lot more rife among musicians than among gun culture. And yet you never hear anyone denouncing the music industry for this. Oh well. )

And even more common than incestuous rape is the false allegation of it. Which is far too often accompanied by an adult woman scorned who was tossed over for another adult woman. The strange thing is that they never prevent the rape when they know about it. They only come forward after THEY'VE been hurt and looooong after the girl has been raped.

And within the family you end up with the kids disagreeing with each other about whether the parties crying "rape" are lying. It muddies things up. And if you think I'm talkin' about Woody Allen here, then you haven't seen how this present tale begins with a miffed adult GF and now has one of his daughters denouncing the allegations.

However, all of these complications and the waiting for anything factual to emerge is beyond the comprehension of those who are waiting to pounce with pitchforks and torches brandished. There's always an opportunist with an agenda.
