In fact, the war between the scientific method, and legalism - which could, actually, be argued as Cantor's preferred methodology - is long-standing and great.
Cantor, demonstrably, falsified findings through sample selection to advance legalistic doctrine. To date, he has not normalized his findings against the pathologization/depathologization in homosexual handedness, IQ, or other measures - which would be standard. To date, he has not attempted to replicate his findings through plethysmographic analysis of more randomly-selected persons, which would be required to have a finding - using instead a "retard ward" for the lowest of the low to fraudulently manufacture answers which conform to legalist doctrine of human worth. His supporters are free to argue that fraud is brilliant as a pr ploy of dissent; his detractors are free to note that he deliberately committed fraud in a scientific paper. Either argument is open. The facts are not. 'n in the face of science, data-falsification (which is pretty fucking proveable) to conform to preexisting prejudices is far, far more damning than simple name-calling. Science is greater than Cantor. If you're on the "rip him apart" side, I honestly suggest sticking with, supporting, and defending science. It's just too fucking easy, man. :) Who knows, it might be a PR stunt, though. I... still have a love for science over legalism. |
