I recently had a very good day LG-wise.

I was waiting for the train on the bench when a young Latina mother and her 4 year old LG sat down next to me. The 4 year old was in an empire waisted dress that was black velvet above the waist and hot pink satin below.

Her mother gave the cutie a snack. And I found, to my delight, that the girl hadn't been "taught" that you MAY NOT vocalize your appreciation of how yummy something is as you are eating it. So the little one was almost humming along in a "num num num num" sing-song.

Take THAT Anthony Bourdain. :)

Towards the end of the day I was at a restaurant and in walked the most Tomboyish of 11 year olds. Its like she'd just stepped off the mound of the Softball Little League World's Series. She was a freckle-faced blonde. Her hair was tied into two braids sticking out from under her baseball cap. She also had a baseball jersey, tan denim pants and grey sneakers.

While I caught occasional glimpses of her face, for the most part I was seeing a 3/4 view of her back and side. But this sporty miss exuded everything Tomboy that I find attractive.
