I have a feeling the nons (the friendly ones) often attempt to understand us by thinking of our desires through a filter of what they know to be true for themselves and their own sexualities. While this is an improvement over the "urges" lingo, it's still not correct because it isn't taking into account the fact the forbiddance from being "with them" in a romantic sense affects our feelings for them in a profound way. I think it's quite clear that the more self-accepting of us tend to adopt a more general love and appreciation of girls in absence of the type of romantic storyline experienced by most teleios.
