You are more creepy if you look like you want to say something and don't say it than if you say it.

I...uh...well... yeah. You're probably right.

Ask her parents if they would allow you to take her out just the two of you. That is easy. She enjoys your company and you enjoy hers. That would allow her the opportunity to go somewhere she wants (or go somewhere as a surprize) without adding hassle to the parents.

I'm just extremely afraid that, in my particular situation, I am NOT in a good position to make such a request. I think they'd just be... confused as to why I'd want to do that. They don't know I have some kind of special bond with their daughter.

Perhaps there are ways I can make efforts to spend more time with her that aren't so ... forward? Because I just really feel that would not work here. It's unfortunate.
