This is what needs to happen for us to move on to acceptance. Heed Neutrino's warning, sometimes things get messed up, but largely I think the loudest minority really scare many pedophiles into staying "in the toybox". (coming out of the toybox is a specific phrase often used, one can either taking it as we hide in there to get kids or we are put in there by the kids for hiding from nasty adults, I prefer the latter).

I notice many sex abuse survivors fall into two categories. The ones who were so damaged by either the abuse or iatrogenic harm that they refuse to look at pedophilia and pedophiles in any other way but horrible sick monsters. The others are just deceived by the terminology and fear mongering and false information. Usually these people can tell the difference between a loving person and one who takes advantage of others.
