Wow... I could never do that where I live - the willingness to listen, and the capability of thinking is lost on most people I know. Unfortunately, it is a very specific type if person - someone who has not grown up here is the minimum requirement for most basic cognitive abilities. It's really sad. Accepting anything other man and woman together is quite uncommon around here - many people are openly homophobic, and hate on gays pretty terribly. I can't even imagine what'd they say if they directed there focus away from gays towards pedophiles.
Sometimes knowing the face gives something tangible to destroy.
Even my parents have openly told me that if I were gay, well, "let's just pray it doesn't come to that".

I guess I suffer from observation basis. Goddamn empirical evidence, why are you useless everywhere but science.
