If we look at real rape, real molestation, real sexual assault it is not done because of someone's sexuality.

If I were to rape a women, no one (except the radical feminists) would claim I did it because of my adult heterosexuality. It would be ludicrous to claim that me being an adult heterosexual is why I raped her. Everyone would rightfully claim it was some issue I had. Maybe for power, some sick fetish, mental dysfunction, etc.

I have read many different stories in regards to paedosexuality and it's expression through adult/child sexual contact. There are no doubt men and women who truly abuse children. However in most cases of non-consensual sexual interaction it seems to me that even if a paedosexual, that is not the reason for the abuse.

Society needs to understand that some people have a fetish for the taboo, a fetish for "corrupting" innocence, a fetish for power and control, a fetish to hurt and harm. Society needs to stop assuming paedosexuals are innately like that.

There's a fetish and an attraction. A fetish you have views the object of the fetish as an object. If a fetish involves a child as a whole being, the child is an object to get off from. An attraction involves more than just sexual attraction. Romantic, emotional, etc. are all involved. The child is not an object and is much much more. Just like with any other attraction.

When it comes to sexual attraction it isn't hard to understand how those with other attractions feel. I look at it like this, how I feel about my female partners is how you guys do about your little girl partners. Same with gays and their partners. It takes willfull ignorance to say "I don't get how you find them attractive".

Now just because one has a fetish doesn't mean it has to be abusive. As long as you respect the object of your fetish as a human. Not all fetishes revolve around abuse and harm obviously. Many so called "lolicons" or "shotacons" probably have a fetish for children.

Still I think an important move would be for people to realize that paedosexuality is just that, a sexuality. Where the child is viewed as a partner, a friend, a lover, etc.

Now another problem is that people, idiotically, say that "well since the child can't consent then it is always rape". However I will save that discussion for another post. However I want to say, it literally makes no sense.
