Even when I wasn't pro-paedosexual I always thought the child porn laws and rhetoric were ridiculous.
It's ridiculous when people say things like "downloading child porn increases the demand" or "watching it abuses the child". They just don't make sense. First off there is no money in child porn, so no monetary insentive. From what I have read, it is often shared highl anonymously and the only "gain" is praise or "download counts" or "click counts" or whatever. It is insanely naive to think that these kids wouldn't be abused if child porn couldn't exist. That's assuming they are even abused in the first place. The people who share it will share it anyway or abuse them anyway. Again, assuming it is abuse. I've read a lot of child porn is made by the kids themselves and very little of it is actual obvious rape/molestation. As for viewing it damaging the child all over again. I won't even justify that idiotic claim with a retort. |
