No unobscene Lolicon

Yes, but only obscene imagery is called Lolicon in Japan.

Moe is not Lolicon anymore than we need to distinguish between the safe-for-work adult hardcore pronz of I Love Lucy and the NSFW adult hardcore of Debbie Does Dallas.

If folks in Pago-Pago refer to I Love Lucy as American pronz, then they just aren't using the terms correctly.

Its a terminology problem that where once American anime enthusiasts agreed on the term's Japanese usage, that modern fans describe almost every anime in existence by this term.

But that's the way it is. Yaoi is no longer Yaoi, &tc.

Heck, in the UK there is an anime translator and distributor who has NOTHING to do with manga, but who uses the term "manga" to refer to their work in anime.
