My own personal approach to this subject is selective. Like many others.

I am out to only one. And that was based upon extensively testing the waters prior. From what I can tell in my experience, many don't actively "hate" pedophiles or pedophilia. But rather choose to keep it out of their minds. Reasons for that may include fear, unwillingness to understand, or just simple apathy.
But if confronted by it directly (ie: coming out), they will defend their position in society. Even if it means betraying their true thoughts on it.

I interact with girls within my AoA on a nearly daily basis, albeit a few minutes at a time. And with each experience, most surrounding adults are more pleased that an adult is willing to interact with children on the childs level. A male one at that. Which is starting to be recognised as an ACTUAL problem in my reigon. That males fear for themselves & dont interact with children based on that fear. Whodathunkit?
But activate the "killswitch" in their minds by coming out, and its the complete opposite. Which is understandable, given what we all keep getting told, and are forced into no alternative reasoning.

Either way, I find myself having a greater positive influence on the girls I love by keeping my orientation to myself. Little girls know who we are, we don't have to say or do anything. And that is one of the infinite reasons why they are so beautiful.
