A 45-year-old man in Normal faces more than 100 years in prison, following guilty pleas Monday to child pornography and sex offender registration charges.

James Carter admitted in McLean County Circuit Court to having pornographic images of children on his computer when Normal police searched his home on Jan. 27. He also pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender from October 2013 to January 2014.
