Ever fond of Jewish girls, I fell hard for Kitty Pryde when she was introduced in the comics.
Never minding that John Byrne really can't draw minors well. Of course, she was in her early teens when she was introduced. And as with all of the characters in the mutant titles, she's been tampered with beyond recognition. If other iconic girls were part of the X-Men, we'd see convos like the following: "Sure, Heidi is supposed to be a little Swiss girl being raised by her grandfather and befriending the boy goatherd. But I think she'd be much better if I aged her to 18 and revealed that she was secretly a Templar assassin from an alternate future where the Crusades were fought by Ninjas and Robots. But other than that, I'm being true to the character." Dante ![]() |
