There is an interest. It is just different, less goal-oriented. My sexual interest in my LGF is motivated by a desire to pair-bond, whereas her sexual interest in me would be less about "I am attracted to him" and more about "I like him and this feels good". The difference is important to recognize, but is simply not relevant as a reason to condemn the activity, in my opinion.

Meanwhile, as my girlie's ten-year-old body catapults her into puberty...

She is already showing signs of reciprocating my feelings. She occasionally becomes nervous around me, speaking softer than usual, stumbling on her words, playing with her hair - not the kind of nervous which suggests discomfort, if you undesrtand what I'm getting at.
