To be honest that rings a little hollow when nearly every issue thread I get responses, and not just yours and Ethan's.

And to be honest, regarding trusting me, I think that plays a part too. I think many may be silently envious that their parents trust me - as you yourself have said, many a MAP regards parents as enemies, and it may be too confronting to read a GM which paints them in a positive light. None of the parents I know is perfect, and at least one set I would actively evaluate as bad. But all are trying their best as best they can and know how to. Any place I have now in their children's lives was gained by proving myself a positive and enriching influence. Of course I still have to sail against the anti storm but even within it, proving yourself worthy is the greatest part of having good relations with parents and can surely lead you to get and keep teen, tween, preteen, preschooler and toddler girls and boys in your life, meaningfully.
