Thanks, Pierro. The guilt is not so much from not seeing the signs as from realizing it was because of me that she did it. Intellectually I know it's not my fault, but nevertheless, that doesn't change the fact that is because of me--at least in part--that she did it. The heart will not always listen to the head.
